Tom Jara is UBT’s Vice President of Business Development for the UBT on-campus branch inside the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s student union. In this unique role, Tom is responsible for overseeing the branch and cultivating relationships between the branch team and UNL student, faculty, and staff.

A graduate of Bellevue University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Jara is the co-chair of UBT’s internal Community Involvement committee. An active member of the community, Jara is a member of Leadership Lincoln’s Flagship 40 Cohort, serves as secretary of the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Lincoln and Lancaster County, and volunteers for Junior Achievement and as a TeamMates mentor.

When Tom isn’t at work, he’s probably either working out or golfing. An avid fitness enthusiast, Tom partakes in boot camps, CrossFit competitions, and runs long-distance races with a ruck pack to raise money for charity. He and his wife have two sons who are equally as active as their father.
