From there, she walked attendees through practical strength-building and balance-focused exercises, including sit-to-stand movements and sliding-step drills.

Jake McElroy and Chris Wright, the team behind HIVE Home Service, brought their real‑world experience to the conversation, sharing clear, practical guidance designed to help homeowners avoid costly surprises and stay ahead of routine upkeep. They were fabulous presenters and gracious guests.
Jake and Chris covered a wide range of essential topics, including how to choose the right HVAC filter, what homeowners should know about water heater maintenance, and how to organize home upkeep into a simple quarterly plan. Their approachable style and straightforward explanations made even the more technical topics easy to understand. These friendly pros shared plenty of practical takeaways attendees can use to keep their homes running smoothly year‑round. It was an informative, engaging hour that delivered both education and confidence for homeowners.
Tune Up Your Tech: Declutter Your Devices for the Year Ahead
This week’s Tune‑Up Tuesday focused on making technology feel simpler, more organized, and less intimidating. Nate Gleaves guided attendees through practical ways to declutter smartphones and tablets, using live demonstrations across multiple devices to clearly show how to delete unused apps, create folders, and organize apps and information. He shared relatable examples and plain‑language explanations that made it easy to follow along.
In the first half of the session, Nate covered ways to clean up devices and protect personal data — especially important when disposing of or donating older phones and tablets. The second half featured an engaging introduction to AI, including how it differs from traditional online searches and how chatbots can help with everyday questions and tasks.
