What is a quarterly cash flow plan?

Quarterly cash flow plans show how much money a business has coming in (inflows) and what expenses it has (outflows).

For example, a successful harvest and the sale of a corn crop is counted as a revenue inflow, whereas money spent on something like equipment maintenance is considered an outflow. The quarterly cash flow plan helps map out money earned versus money spent.

Outlining these components of your business is a critical part of the loan process.
